Chris reviewed the definitions and parts of speech for Vocab #10. We read 1.1 of Romeo and Juliet. We divided in groups of 3 and used characters to "act" the scene. Thank you for volunteering to read aloud today! If you are having difficulty following the play, it is a good idea to reread the scene and look at the footnotes on the lefthand pages. We will continue with 1.2 and 1.3 tomorrow.
DUE TOMORROW: 5 sentences (no sentence patterns)
FRIDAY: Vocab. #10 Quiz with Cult. Lit. and Etymology

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like the puppets. We"ll incorp some acting and drawing, too. It's important to visualize the play as we read...hence the fact that Shakespeare wrote plays, I guess. 1 comments posted by the teacher--that was for you, Dubby.
